OPEN CALL: Actors of All Ages. Male and Female

(Sorry only Non-Equity, and this is a Non-Paying gig, but really fun!).

Brave New Play Rites Festival, UBC. Twelve Short Plays by Up-and-coming Young Playwrights. Tech and Production runs March 16 – April 1. Auditions: Sunday January 8 (10:00 AM-6:00 PM) and Monday January 9 (5:00 PM to 9:00 PM) in the Dorothy Somerset Studio. Please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues of no more than 2 minutes each in length. 

An incredible experience in a professional theatre environment, and unparalleled networking opportunities. Work with the writers, directors and designers of tomorrow, mentored by resident professional theatre artists on faculty. Students from Theatre at UBC and Creative Writing’s acclaimed training programs write, direct and design for the festival.
